Irwin died before 1880 and Velincia died sometime after 1900. William Glenn Spencer was born December 12,1862.He was a generation farmer.

Tally worked on the farm as a laborer. Later he moved to Gainsville,Hall County Georgia to a house at #2 Dunlap Street. He married a lady named Cora.
Gordon moved to Gainsville in 1910 to work in a mill. Glenn died August 2,1928 and is buried in the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Angeline lived until
Feb.6,1945 and was laid to rest next to Glenn. General Gordon Spencer was born June 15,1889 in Shoal Creek Georgia.In 1910 he moved to Gainsville,Hall County Georgia.
He boarded with the family of Ashbury Smith and worked as a weaver in a cotton mill.It was here that he met Anna Leonie Ogle. She was born August 11,1890 in Banks County Georgia
and lived with her father at 57 Dean St. in Gainsville. Anna worked as a Spinner in the same mill as Gordon.They fell in love and were married July 2,1910. They moved into a house at #4
Dunlap St.,next to Gordon's brother Tal.They had 5 children:

Sometime between July 1926 and 1930 the family relocated to Centerville In Anderson SC.They lived at 228 Foster Street and Gordon went to work as a mechanic in the Appleton Mill.
Gordon Passed away on September 15,1938.According to the SC Cemetery Survey Greenville County Volume 3:Gordon is buried in Springwood Cemetery (also know by locals as the City Cememtery)the survey Reads:Gordon G. Spencer-born 1889,died 1938 (Notation Buried September 17,1938)This is unusual because normally the burial date was not listed.Anna passed away in January 1967.Also from the Survey of Springwood Cemetery:Anna L. Spencer born 1890, died 1967 (Notation buried January 10,1967) Interesting point that her last name at the time (Hix) was not listed which I am told is not unusual for the time.
As for the children: J.D. met Evelyn Elizabeth Stewart,while boarding in her parents house.
They married on Thanksgiving day 1929.They had 2 children:

Later JD and Evelyn were Divorced. JD became a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII.After his first enlistment he re-enlisted and became a Major.
He moved to New York, met and married and had a son, believed to be named Michael.
The unknown lady eventually had the marriage annulled.After that J.D. moved to Lynchburg VA.He married Corrine Louise Jessee.They had 2 children:

J.D. died suddenly on June 6,1953 of a heart attack,while on a business trip to Salisbury NC.
His funeral was held in Salisbury and then he was taken to Lynchburg for burial. Lorene married John White.They lived in Anderson SC.Their Children:

Lorene passed away 1/8/04 and is buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson SC Raymond Everett married Carrie Louise Ward.He was a private in WWII with the
422ND Regiment,106th Division and was captured during Ardennes Rhineland,or the Battle of the Buldge, by the Germans. He was a POW in Stalag 9B,ranked by the Red Cross and Swedish inspectors as one of the worst POW camps in the war.
They were Liberated by the Americans on Sunday April 1,1945
